Frequently Asked Infrared Questions 1.How does it work? What is Infrared?
Infrared is the warm part of the sun that helps all living things grow. We as humans absorb infrared all day; the only problem is that anywhere North of New York there are insufficient levels of Infrared for an estimated 206 days a year.
Symptoms of low levels of Infrared include: sleepy, slow metabolism, low energy, irregular sleeping patterns, mood swings, and depression.
2. How can I burn calories with Infrared?
The reason that you burn an average of 600 calories is that your body burns calories while it is trying to cool itself down. Some people may burn 1000 calories, while others 300. So 600 calories is actually just an average.

What Other Benefits Can I Expect? The Far Infrared wavelength lowers lactic acid, stimulates endorphins, kills bacteria and parasites, penetrates tissues, detoxifies cells by vibrating ionic bonds, stops swelling, improves lymphatic flow and blood circulation, attracts calcium to cell membranes where it is needed for healing, decreases the size of water clusters which gives them greater mobility for going in and out of body tissue. When these hyperactive or energized water clusters move in and out they mobilize stored toxins that can then be excreted.
Repeated Infrared Sauna treatment improves impaired blood vessel functions in patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking and high cholesterol.
