Personal Training can be so many different things depending on the client - that's what makes it personal! A client can choose to train with their trainer 5x/week, 3x/week, 2x/week, 1x/week, or even once every month. At the very least, a client should visit their trainer once every 6 weeks to make a few changes to their program to make
sure they're always progressing and experiencing results - too many people stay on the same program for an extended period of time and wonder why they're no longer experiencing changes in their fitness level. Critical to ongoing progress is regular updates to someone's fitness regime. Clients can choose to train for 30 minute or 60 minute sessions. They can choose to train alone or with a partner or in a small group setting.
A client can decide whether they'd like to focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these. They could decide to workout with their trainer at home or outdoors or on-line. They could decide they want to learn to run, train for a triathlon or maybe go for a hike. We really do strive to make our clients' sessions as individualized, fun and meaningful as possible.
Personal Training has become a very popular service with many people experiencing results, therefore, demonstrating its value. When someone signs up with a trainer, they can expect regular education, support and guidance. Their trainer will make them accountable - clients will always have someone looking over their shoulder. Trainers provide safety, variety and efficiency and effectiveness.
A client's first session with a trainer is critical to helping them set up a foundation for success. Seven out of ten people start an exercise program but then within 2-3 months they have dropped out. This high drop-out rate is often due to the fact that the individual has not spent any time establishing the right program for them based on their history, goals, individual needs and lifestyle. Pure Potential spends a good portion of the first session listening to the client to determine which type of program is going to help them stay motivated so they are consistent enough to progress, experience results and succeed. We have established a system all based in the Law of Attraction principle to support and assist our clients to get more of what they want and less of what they don't want.
